Join the Align & Flow Teaching Team
Align & Flow Pilates is a boutique Pilates studio in Markham, Ontario, offering both reformer and mat classes. Founded by certified Pilates instructor Katherine, we're growing our teaching team and looking for certified Pilates instructors (mat, reformer, or both) to work with our clients in small, hands-on classes.
About the Role
As an instructor with us, you'll teach a mix of private 1:1 sessions (including posture assessments), small group reformer classes (maximum 3 clients), and private group sessions for 2–3 people. Our studio is posture-focused: you'll help clients build core strength, improve alignment, and move safely, including clients working through back pain or navigating pregnancy and postnatal recovery. Depending on your certification, you may teach mat, reformer, or both.
What We're Looking For

A recognized Pilates certification (mat and/or reformer). Any accredited body is considered, e.g. STOTT PILATES, BASI, Balanced Body, Polestar, Peak Pilates, or equivalent

Comfortable teaching adults of all levels

Clear, confident cueing and hands-on coaching

A professional, warm, client-focused manner

Nice to have: experience with pre/postnatal or back-pain focused programming

Nice to have: availability during some of our studio hours (Monday and Wednesday, 10 a.m.–9 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.)
